More commonly known as the Shrinking Potion, it was taught by Potion Mistress Kris Airlia sometime during the 2053 - 2054 school year in Potions Class. This potion should not be confused with the Shrinking Solution which is ingested and reduces the target in development. It can be used on non-living objects.
Uses[]
The Shrinking Potion is used externally in order to reduce the target in size.
Ingredients[]
- daisy roots (chopped)- 8 grams
- shrivelfig (skinned)- one
- caterpillar (sliced)- one
- nettles (dried and crushed)- 8 grams
- leech juice- a dash
- ginger root (chopped)- 4 grams
Directions[]
- Add daisy roots, shrivelfig, caterpillar slices, and nettle to 500 mL boiling water.
- Stir (direction is unimportant) for 2 minutes.
- Add a dash of leech juice
- Allow the solution to stew, stirring occassionally, for half an hour.
- Add the ginger root and stir (direction is unimportant) for 2 minutes.
- Remove cauldron from the fire and allow potion to cool.
