Professor Phoebe Phoenix was the Herbology professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 2037-2054. She also served as the Gryffindor Head of House from 2044-2054.
Family[]
Growing up in house of healer-parents with twin sister Norah brought along major interest in Herbology and Potions, however she has always been fascinated with Charms, Transfiguration, Care of Magical Creatures and Ancient Runes as well. Less interest in History, Muggle Studies, Divination and Arithmancy.
In later years, Phoenix was romantically linked with Headmaster Kobus Hendrik.
Physical Appearance[]
Long, blond, slightly curly hair, usually tied to a messy bun, icy pale blue to stormy grey-blue eyes, pale complexion with rosy cheeks when she gets excited, tall (1.80m) and slender figure and flowing robes. And the dirty Herbology apron.
Personality[]
Usually an optimistic and joyful character, and although not necessarily naïve, she trusts easily, therefore is also easy to deceive. There is no record of her ever really blowing up, as she tends to keep everything bottled up inside herself, and then maybe cry it out. Emotional, but also sometimes extremely cold and rational, often thoughtful and day-dreamer, and all the long apparently self-confident. Tendency of excluding herself from groups, although she gets along easily with people she doesn't know. Behind the optimistic mask, one may find it is a shell to a hurt and sad person.
Career History[]
Prior to becoming the professor for Herbology at Hogwarts, Phoenix studied Celtic mythology at the WUNI (Wizarding University of Northern Ireland). She also hoped to write a novel.
