Picture Animating Charm

Wand Movement:

Triangle, then cross it

Animates pictures and photos

The Picture Animating Charm was taught by Charms Professor Andi Mao MacDougal Zizhen sometime during the 2059-2060 school year. This charm is used to animate pictures and photos, but not portraits. The wand movement for it is drawing a triangle in the air and then crossing it with a five-pointed star. The pattern will be marked in the air and will slowly fade away as the figures in the picture begin to move.

But as Professor Pierson Fuller taught sometime during 2084-2085, the Picture Animating Charm can also be cast using a simple tap on the middle of the picture you wish to animate.
